Arai Urban-V combines the design and style of a vintage helmet, with the cutting-edge level of protection, comfort and ventilation you expect from Arai.

Urban-V combines the old and the new;

No detail has been left to chance, such as the eco-leather finishes with visible stitching and the classic embroidered interiors, but it is also an Arai in all respects, in fact it meets the strict Arai internal standards in addition to the mandatory ECE homologation. 22-05 being equipped with the most modern technical features in terms of protection and comfort, such as an integrated ventilation system and a more rigid and rounded outer shell. The outer shell of Urban-V is made of PB-cLc2 (the same technology used in F1) and an inner shell in EPS with different densities in a single piece (Arai world exclusive).

EXTERNAL SHELL:

Vintage style with F1 technology.

The outer shell of the Urban-V is made using Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction2 (PB-cLc2) technology.

The shape of the shell ensures timeless appeal and reflects our philosophy that a more rounded, smooth and resistant shell improves the helmet's ability to glide over any obstacles, deflecting and distributing impact forces.

The patented Peripheral Belt (made of Super Fiber), inherited from our F1 helmets, helps to improve the strength and rigidity of the shell while maintaining lightness and a low center of gravity, for greater comfort over long distances.

This solution also allowed us to use a thinner EPS shell which helps improve the upper field of view.

The addition of a layer of Organic Felt inserted between the various laminate sheets further contributes to the rigidity of the shell without negatively affecting the weight of the helmet.

INTERNAL SHELL / VENTILATION SYSTEM:

High-tech with multi-level ventilation channel.

At the base of our helmet construction philosophy is the use of an extremely rigid and resistant outer shell to distribute energy over as large a surface as possible, combined with an inner EPS shell that helps absorb energy. of impact behaving in a similar way to the crash zones in automobiles.

The Urban-V is equipped with both, using an EPS inner shell with different densities in a single piece and the PB-cLc2 outer shell.

Thanks to the greater resistance of the outer shell, we were able to integrate a system of ventilation channels inside the EPS that ensures a constant flow of air inside the helmet.

The air enters through three channels positioned in the frontal area to flow over the head, eliminating the heat.

Subsequently, thanks to the integrated channel, it is collected and directed towards the Venturi effect extractor which, thanks to the low pressure area generated behind the helmet, provides for the extraction.

INTERIORS:

Removable and customizable antimicrobials.

For an even softer, smoother and more comfortable fit we have developed an even more delicate lining material.

The interior of Urban-V is made of antimicrobial material, which helps maintain a balanced pH on the skin and which boasts deodorizing properties, allowing the helmet to stay fresher for longer.

Inner cap:

Urban-V's embroidered inner cap contributes to ventilation by guiding the flow of air from the three front channels inside the helmet to the rear extractor.

Removable cheek pads:

The pillows can be easily removed for any customization or washing. All the remaining parts can be washed with warm water and neutral soap. Be careful to rinse well and never dry in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
