Shell in KPA material: it is a patented blend of polycarbonate, thermoplastic, which provides ultra-light weight and high resistance to penetration, as well as a certain flexibility for maximum energy dispersion.

Very happy with the LS2 Helmet. Fit is good, and came with all the features advertised. I wish the communication on shipping was a little better. There was a week before it shipped and no indication from the store when it would be shipped. It arrived in good condition after two weeks. Fortunately it was a replacement helmet.
