The 12 hour MAINTENANCE CHARGE CYCLE consists of floating charge periods of 30 minutes with mains voltage of 13.6 V followed by and alternating with periods of "rest" of 30 minutes (without charging current)

During the floating charge period, the current is delivered only if the battery has lost its charge due to the connected vehicle circuit; an update cycle may be performed if the charge level has dropped significantly

Charge progress is plotted against the ideal charge curve for LiFePO4; Internal damage will be detected and unnecessary recharging of a battery that cannot be recovered will be prevented
