Variator Malossi multivar 2000 mhr next Yamaha T-max 560 (2020-21)
Multivar MHR Next was born from the desire to renew the transmission system to take full advantage of its exceptional technical characteristics.
Multivar MHR Next was born from the desire to renew the transmission system to take full advantage of its exceptional technical characteristics. This new variator, developed from the many years of experience acquired on racing circuits and from the Cad-Cam technology available today, represents the evolution of previous generations of variators and offers performance results at the highest levels.
The mobile half-pulley is the characterizing component of the entire system and is therefore subject to constant evolution. Designed with a larger diameter than the original, it allows for a significantly higher gear ratio excursion than the original pulley. Advanced CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) systems have allowed our technicians to analyze the movements of the entire system in the vehicle in operation, to further optimize the geometry of the pulley and avoid collisions even in the most critical conditions of use. The new reinforcement ribs, developed to lighten the less critical areas, allow to reduce inertias and consequently dissipate less energy from the engine. For a strong aesthetic impact, the MALOSSI and MULTIVAR logos have been subjected to a diamond coating process.
